Just turned 100K miles.

With just over 100K miles on my Volvo V60 it has been a reliable and gas efficient vehicle. The most comfortable car I have ever owned and "knock on wood" has not left me stranded. Routine maintenance is all my V60 has ever needed. Have not experienced a high dollar repair cost as of yet. She is fun to drive and cheap to maintain. - 3.0
Nice Car, expensive to maintain

first, I love this car. Its comfortable, it handles well, it's fast, and it feels high quality throughout. I agree that for the price, it needed better dash layout, rear camera, and touchscreen. Some of these deficiencies were corrected later. However, this car has not held it's value at all. It is VERY expensive to work on, the parts are incredibly expensive, there is NO aftermarket to speak of, no documentation for do it yourself, and Volvo has locked down access to repair books to only dealers. Nobody else can buy access to work on the car. My nearest dealer is 90 miles away. (local closed) There are issues with these cars that are NOT mentioned in the scheduled maintenance, like a PCV system that clogs up and causes power loss, oil use, and eventually engine failure if you don't correct it, and Volvo PCV systems are complicated and expensive. Same with the thermostat, expensive and complicated, and doesn't issue a code most readers will see. Now it's not shifting correctly, and there are many reasons that could happen, none of which are producing a code. so more expensive repairs. It has a timing belt, not chain, $1000 to replace, not including the water pump. so this year alone, $440 for PCV, $550 for thermostat, $1000 for timing belt, Transmission? no idea, could be simple part, or total rebuild. for a car that in five years lost $37,000 in value. I still love the car, but I paid luxury car price for what is turning out to be an economy car. - 5.0
Most comfortable vehichle I have ever owned.

Excellent gas mileage, averages 29 mpg highway at 70~75 mph. Averages 23 mpg city driving. Comfort is an understatement. Sitting in this V60 cruising the highway for hours on end will put you to sleep if you are not careful. Just turned 100K miles with "zero" mechanical issues. Safety features are top notch. I love my Volvo V60 and hope it lasts for the next 200K miles plus.
