The new Chevy Silverado 1500 and the new Silverado EV are here. But why do you care? Easy. Because the Silverado 1500 has risen to the top of the most popular trucks in Frederick, Baltimore, and throughout the nation. It’s made for blue-collar workers who know what it means to work and play hard. And the Silverado EV is a pivot into a cleaner future with electrified power that will kick you back into your seat. And we’ve got them both here at Fitzgerald Chevrolet of Frederick.

Silverado 1500 Power

Keep your foot on the gas with the Silverado 1500 in Hagerstown. This light-duty pickup truck has multiple engines available throughout the trim levels. The 6.2L V8 inside the High Country delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, the 5.3L V8 provides 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque, the 3.0L inline-six Duramax diesel has 305 horsepower and 495 lb.-ft. of toque, and the standard 2.7L four-cylinder TurboMax offers 310 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. When properly equipped, the Silverado 1500 can pull up to 13,300 lbs.

Silverado EV Power

The Silverado EV finds its juice through dual electric motors. The base-level WT trim will pony up 510 horsepower, and the top-level RST will give your daily driver a boost to 664 horsepower. The max towing capacity for the Silverado EV will be up to 10,000 pounds for the RST and 8,000 for the WT. But there’s more in store for the Silverado EV near Gaithersburg. There are plans to produce an additional trim level for more heavy-duty lifting. The new addition is expected to pull double the max capacity of the Silverado EV RST.
